With over 17 years of real estate investment experience, Su Kiat’s work experience spans a wide range of real estate related activities including real estate investment management, fund management, deal origination and structuring, land economics, retail economics and economic impact assessment and modelling.
As the founding member of Firmus in 2017, Su Kiat has built and led the team at Firmus from a single mandate real estate fund into an integrated investment and asset management platform. To date, Firmus has established 4 core plus and separate investment mandate funds with an AUM in excess of S$300m into 5 real estate projects in Australia.
Prior to joining Firmus, Su Kiat co-founded Rockworth Capital Partners in 2011 and was the firm’s Chief Investment Officer and was responsible in growing the investment management business, from zero to a portfolio value of approximately A$1bn of income producing commercial office and retail assets in Australia.
Before that, Su Kiat held the role of Investment Manager at Frasers Centrepoint Commercial, between 2008-2010. Preceding that, Su Kiat was with Allco Finance Group, as Director of Investment and deal origination for Allco REIT, a listed REIT in Singapore (subsequently renamed Frasers Commercial Trust in 2008). Su Kiat started his career at Urbis, a leading property economics advisory firm in Australia.
Su Kiat has a PhD in Economics from Monash University, Australia.
